How long have you worked at OTIS? In what capacities/different roles (if any)?
I have worked for OTIS for a little over five years. I was hired as Vice President of Operations & Compliance and then promoted to President & Chief Executive Officer, as of January 1, 2018.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I love my job and deciding on one area that I consider my favorite is hard. My top two are working with employees and working with our members. I love working with all of the employees of Team OTIS; we have a great team of employees and I truly appreciate all of the work that they do to make sure that our member’s financial needs are taken care of. I love working with our members – whether it is in-person or on the phone. My interaction with members is limited, but when I do have the opportunity to wait on them, take a phone call or even converse with members in the community, I always find myself reflecting on how wonderful and appreciative our members are.
What three words best define OTIS to you?
Member-centric, not-for-profit, cooperative.
What do you think makes OTIS special?
Undoubtedly, our employees make OTIS special and everything else falls into place because of them.
What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?
My husband and I thoroughly enjoy time up at our camp in Brownville. We love to motorcycle in the summer and snowmobile in the winter — just being outside and enjoying the fresh air with whatever we are doing is wonderful. When we aren’t busy motorcycling or snowmobiling, chances are, we are spending time with our seven-year-old niece and three-year-old nephew. We cherish the time and laughs with our family and friends!
