First and foremost, we would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding while our Credit Union lobby was closed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
We have successfully re-opened with the necessary limitations to keep our talented workforce and our loyal members healthy. Here are a few things that you will want to be aware of for any upcoming visits to the Credit Union:
- We have face masks and hand sanitizer available for your use. We respectfully ask that you please wear a mask while inside of the building.
- We have strategically placed stickers in our teller lobby to assist members with distancing requirements. Please observe safe physical distancing practices.
- Our coin machine and the shredding bin are now available for your use.
*Please note that we are still highly encouraging online and phone loan applications.*
We are asking members who are sick or who are showing symptoms related to COVID-19 to please perform their transactions remotely, by either calling us directly or by using OTIS Online, OTIS Mobile, or OTIS Talk.

Members of OTIS FCU,
We are pleased to announce that our lobby is now open in a limited capacity for Teller transactions. Please read the following information carefully.
Due to social distancing requirements, we are limited to welcoming 13 members at a time into our lobby. We will have a greeter present at our entrance to assist in welcoming you.
Teller transactions include the following:
- Check Cashing
- Deposits, Withdrawals and Transfers
- Loan and Credit Card Payments/Payoffs
- Credit Card Advances
- Shared Branching
- Money Orders and Cashier Checks
- Gift Cards
Our Tellers are able to assist one member at a time. For a transaction on a joint account, this means that only one of the account holders will be able to come into our lobby to complete the transaction. If conducting separate transactions, however, both account holders are welcome to enter.
For the safety of our staff and all of our members, we respectfully request that if you are ill, if you are showing any symptoms of being ill, or if you have been around anyone who has been/is currently ill, that you refrain from entering our lobby at this time.
While we apologize for any inconvenience, our public restroom will remain closed for the time being.
As always, our Drive-Thru will be available from 9 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday. OTIS Online, OTIS Mobile, OTIS Talk (audio banking), and our Online Loan and Credit Card Applications are also conveniently available for your banking needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are always happy to assist you with these services.
For all other services and/or inquiries, our staff will continue to assist you either over the phone or online.
We are truly excited to begin the process of re-opening, and deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we all work together to ensure the ongoing health and well-being of our community!

Dear OTIS FCU Members,
Out of concern for the health and well-being of our employees, our members, and the wider community, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend all in-branch banking.
Effective March 18, 2020 and until further notice, the branch lobby of OTIS FCU will be closed to credit union business.
OTIS FCU is taking precautionary measures to assist in flattening the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic by moving branch transactions to our drive-thru. We continue to keep a close pulse on the COVID-19 situation, reviewing guidance published by the CDC, the Maine CDC and the World Health Organization and acting on necessary steps to ensure the safety of our employees, our members and the wider community of Franklin County and the surrounding towns.
Please read the following information below carefully to understand how this will impact your financial needs.
DRIVE-THRU: Our four drive-thru lanes will be open during regular business hours. In addition to the normal day-to-day transactions that we currently process at drive-thru, we are making accommodations to deliver additional services:
- Shared Branching Transaction (except for Cashier Checks and Money Orders)
- Cash Advances
- Instant Issue Debit and Credit Cards
- Loan documents not able to be signed electronically
*Please note that we will not be able to provide or accept rolled coin.
NIGHT DEPOSIT: We have a night deposit box located in the first lane of our drive-thru, right next to our ATM. Please feel free to utilize this as we will be posting these items throughout the day during business hours.
DIGITAL SERVICES: Our digital services are available to you 24/7, right from the convenience of your home or wherever you are. These include:
- OTIS Online (Online Banking)
- OTIS Mobile App (Mobile Banking)
- Remote Deposit Capture (Depositing a check through OTIS Mobile)
- Bill Payer (available in OTIS Online & OTIS Mobile)
- OTIS Talk (Automated Phone Banking)

LENDING: Our Loan Department is available to you during business hours via the telephone. Applications can be submitted online 24/7 at https://www.otisfcu.coop/loans/. Feel free to also call our Loan Department at 207-897-0900 (option 3) to speak with a Loan Officer directly.
ATM: Our ATM is available to you 24/7. If our ATM is not geographically convenient for you, please visit https://www.otisfcu.coop/surcharge-free-atms/ to find surcharge free ATM on the SURF or CO-OP network that may be more convenient to you.
